Brookside Nursing Home of White River is a 67-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility offering a continuum of healthcare services, owned and operated by the Rice Family since 1963. Services include short-term medical and rehabilitation treatment as a cost effective alternative to care traditionally provided in an acute setting; traditional long-term skilled nursing care; and comprehensive rehabilitation services provided on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.

Brookside Nursing Home of White River is part of the respected Brookside Nursing Home Inc., a locally owned and operated healthcare facilities organization. Licensed in the state of Vermont to provide skilled and intermediate care, Brookside Nursing Home was also one of the first Medicare providers in the country. The Medicaid program benefits can be utilized by both Vermont and New Hampshire recipients, as well as those covered by private and insurance programs.

Convenient, Desirable Location

Brookside is located in the scenic upper valley in the village of White River Junction, one of the five villages comprising the town of Hartford. While in a rural setting, we enjoy easy access to Interstates 89 and 91 and it is a less then 10-mile jaunt to the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center or the Veterans Administration Hospital, located nearby.
