Owned and operated by the Rice family, founders of the Brookside Nursing Home of White River Junction in 1963, the Brookside Alliance today includes two Vermont facilities: Brookside Health and Rehabilitation Centers in White River Junction and the Green Mountain Nursing Home in Colchester. Although the centers all offer advanced and comprehensive programs of treatment, their modest size and the day-to-day attention of Brookside's committed local owners and caring staff result in a warm, home-like atmosphere at every location.

All facilities are licensed to provide skilled and intermediate care to patients with acute and long-term illness. Patients covered by Medicare/Vermont Medicaid and other insurances are accepted.
